Patch — August 30, 2026
Caravan Escorts
- New exploration event: a caravan asks for an escort across the map. It is the rarest event, at roughly a 1 in 55 chance per tick, and is offered at every zone tier to solo players and parties alike
- The offer card draws the whole route on the world map with each zone's tier and quotes the exact gold purse paid on delivery. The quote is binding — no roll
- Offer vote: Escort / Decline / Split. Ties, silence and an all-Split vote resolve to Decline
- Routes are 2–5 hops (3–6 zones including the starting zone), each zone crossed exactly once. Every zone on the route holds 1 or 2 bandit ambushes, for 3–12 ambushes per escort
- Accepting takes over the adventure like a dungeon: no gathers, encounters or entrances roll and
/explore moveis refused until the escort ends - A 30-second beat precedes every ambush and carries a Stay / Abandon / Split vote. Abandon needs a strict majority; ties and silence mean Stay. An all-Split beat abandons the caravan
- Every beat restores the full between-event health and mana, the same as a normal exploration tick
- Ambushes cannot be fled: there is no Fight / Escape vote, the fight goes straight to row-picking
- Hops are instant and the party's zone actually moves with the caravan, so ambushes scale by the zone the party is standing in and every exit leaves the party where the caravan reached
- The last ambush of every escort is led by the Bandit Captain
- The purse is worth 675 + 225 × tier gold per zone on the route (900 at tier 1 through 2,250 at tier 7), summed over every zone. It is paid on delivery as one pool split among whoever is standing at the destination
- The purse is all or nothing: abandoning, wiping, an emptied party or a bot restart forfeits it. Bandit drops, kill XP and strongboxes bank on the spot and are always kept
- Every ambush has a 25% chance to carry a strongbox: a chest rolled at that zone's tier at 0.42× the dungeon chest roll count, split among the members standing when the ambush was won
- A bot restart mid-escort ejects the party in the last zone the caravan reached. A caravan offer that was still open when the bot restarted comes back intact
Bandits
- New Bandit enemy family: Bandit Slinger, Bandit Crossbowman, Bandit Cutthroat, Bandit Thug and the Bandit Captain boss. All are aggressive and appear only in escort ambushes — there is no bandit dungeon or wandering bandit
- Bandit Captain: 1,700 health, 84 Attack, 28 Defense, with two spells. Cut the Straps hits up to 3 targets (spilling one row) at range 3 for −20 Defense for 2 rounds. Highwayman's Toll hits one target at range 2 for 170% Attack physical damage plus an 87% Attack physical bleed for 2 rounds
- Bandits drop gold more often than other enemies (55–60% chance per roll) and Leather as their family material. The Captain can also drop an Iron Bow
Wiki
- New Events tab listing every exploration event: what it asks, its votes and fallbacks, what it pays, and the chance of each event per tick in every zone tier
- Bandits are labelled as escort-ambush enemies instead of dungeon bosses on the mob and spell pages
