Patch — July 17, 2026
Spells
- The old 12-spell set (Heal, Infect, Curse, Diminish, Maddening, Weakening, Hoodoo, Bless, Fireball, Shield, Bloodrain, and Amplification) has been replaced by 50 new spells: 30 weapon spells and 20 race spells
- All equipped and unlocked spells have been reset
- Each weapon kind — Sword, Axe, Hammer, Spear, and Bow — has six spells: every character knows the first two for free, and the remaining four unlock one at a time at weapon knowledge levels 10, 20, 30, and 40
- Weapon spells can only be assigned while the matching weapon kind is equipped; unequipping it or swapping to another kind clears those spells from your slots, but the unlock itself is never lost
- Each race — Human, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf — has five spells across three tiers (two Tier 1, two Tier 2, one Tier 3) with no weapon or knowledge requirement
- Unlocking a spell costs Perfect gems plus gold: 1 gem and 5,000 gold at weapon levels 10 and 20 / race Tier 1, 2 gems and 15,000 gold at level 30 / Tier 2, and 3 gems and 40,000 gold at level 40 / Tier 3
- Each spell requires specific gem types (for example Blade Dance costs 2 Perfect Agility Gems and 1 Perfect Attack Gem); the unlock view and wiki show the exact cost, and all reagents are consumed on unlock
- Some spells now hit multiple targets: the selected target is always hit, and up to 1–3 extra targets within the spell's row spill are picked at random
- New spell mechanics include multi-hits, executes that multiply damage below a health threshold, lifesteal, self-damaging reckless attacks, heals paid with the caster's health, stuns that skip the target's next action, damage reflection, shields, damage and healing over time, and stat buffs and debuffs
- The Moth, Bee Queen, Lich, Goblin Warlord, Rat King, and Dire Bear now cast from 12 spells unique to them — players can never unlock these, but they appear on wiki spell and mob pages
- The unlock and equip pickers are now paginated, and wiki spell pages show each spell's full mechanics, effects, multi-target behavior, and unlock cost
Knowledge
- Slayer now appears first under the Weapons view and grants +0.25% damage against mobs per level above 1, up to +37.25%
- Each tier-matched Gatherer level above 1 adds +0.25% perfect-gather chance, up to +24.75%
- Each tier-matched Refiner or Blacksmith level above 1 adds +0.25% material-return chance when crafting, up to +24.75%; the crafting gold fee is never returned
